Public Hearing Notice - Amending Title 17 Sort Term Rentals

Notice is hereby given that the Hyrum City Planning Commission of Hyrum City, Utah will hold a public hearing Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hyrum City Council Chambers, 60 West Main, Hyrum. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment regarding an ordinance amending Title 17 Zoning of the Hyrum city Municipal Code to create Chapter 17.62 Short-term Rental; amend 17.04.070 Definitions to define and include “Short-term Rental”; and amend Use Regulations in sections 17.28.010, 17.44.020, and 17.45.020 to include Short-term Rental as a conditional use in the Residential Zones R-1 and R-2, Commercial Zones C-1 and C-2.
