What is Homebound Library Service?

This is a service that provides library access to homebound patrons in the library's service area of Hyrum, Nibley, and Wellsville. This service allows those who are homebound due to health restrictions or disabilities access to the public library. Patrons who sign up for this service will have library materials delivered to their door once a month, by our library volunteers.

    • Or pay for a non-resident library card
  • Have a library card in good standing

How does it work?

Simply fill out a homebound application, if you do not currently have a library card, one will be assigned to you. Fill out your preference such as specific authors or subjects. We will select items, and bring them to your door. You check them out for one month. At the end of the loan period, we will exchange the checked out items with new items.

What can I Borrow?

You may borrow most things that the library offers.

Items NOT permitted for a Homebound card include:

  • DVD's
  • STEAM kits
  • Board games

How do I sign up?
