Building Permits

A Zoning Clearance Application and building permit is required for the construction, alteration, repair, removal or occupancy of any structure or any part thereof (i.e., new industrial, manufacturing, commercial and residential buildings;  additions, remodels, and basement finishes; detached accessory structures, garages, and sheds).  For any detached accessory structure that is less than 200 square feet will only required a zoning clearance. 

Hyrum City contracts with the Cache County Building Department to review and process building permits through a separate application. An approved zoning clearance is required prior to submitting a Building Permit Application application to Cache County.
