Museum Super Saturday

Our May Super Saturday event is our “Memorial Weekend Open House” Join us from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 23, for your last chance to experience the traveling exhibit "Bringing War Home: Object Stories, Memory, & Modern War." The exhibit is accompanied by many wonderful artifacts that local veteran John A. Petersen brought home from Japan during his service in the U. S. Navy during the Cold War. We will offer a special family art activity based on the exhibit throughout the day. Make a visit to the Hyrum City Museum a part of your Memorial Weekend plans! Hyrum City Museum events are free and open to all!

We are SUPER excited to celebrate America's Semiquincentennial throughout 2026! The museum will be open from 10am-3pm on each of our Super Saturdays and we will have an activity to accompany each theme celebrating 250 years of Independence.
